Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) to ensure smooth, automated software delivery.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm, with hands-on experience in Docker.
  • Cloud & Security Management: Manage AWS cloud services while implementing AWS security best practices (e.g., IAM policies, VPC security, encryption) to protect our infrastructure.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to optimize deployments and resolve issues. Embrace agile methodologies and a DevOps culture to foster continuous feedback and process improvement.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure processes to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python).
  • Familiarity with AWS security best practices.

Advantage:

  • Experienced with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
  • Provisioning, operating, and debugging of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with GitOps tools.


Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
