Position SummaryWe are looking for a hands-on Software & Algorithm Team Leader to lead the development of automotive-grade software and algorithms in a startup environment. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the development of signal processing, embedded software, and system integration while ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
You will define processes, manage projects, and mentor engineers, while also collaborating with external partners and subcontractors.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Development- Define and implement software development processes aligned with automotive standards.
- Lead the integration of embedded software, mobile applications, and system connectivity.
- Design, develop, and optimize real-time software and algorithms for analyzing biological signals.
- Oversee software architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
Team & Project Management- Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers.
- Coordinate subcontractors and external partners across multiple disciplines.
- Drive software roadmaps, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Regulatory & System Integration- Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other automotive safety regulations.
- Manage testing and validation of software components.
- Work with hardware engineers and data scientists to ensure seamless integration.
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading software teams in automotive, embedded systems, or safety-critical domains.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Expertise in signal processing, real-time decision-making, and embedded software.
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred:- Experience developing biological or physiological monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis.
