The Product Engineering Services Group (PESG) is a dynamic division focused on delivering cutting-edge design automation solutions and methodologies. Our CAD group is at the forefront of innovation, providing essential tools and support to ensure the successful design and verification of semiconductor products.

Candidate will conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement in signoff tools and design rule checkers. Collaborate with CAD tool developers to identify opportunities for tool enhancements and new feature development. Provide feedback and requirements to improve CAD tools based on user experience and project needs. Develop automation solutions to enhance CAD tool functionality and streamline design processes. Test and validate new CAD tool features to ensure reliability and performance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Formal Equivalence Verification and Signoff Engineer to join our PESG CAD team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formal verification methodologies and signoff processes, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring design integrity and quality.

Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing CAD tools and methodologies to support efficient design workflows.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem Solving Skills: You thrive on finding creative solutions to complex engineering problems, and your attention to detail is second to none

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in formal verification and signoff processes within the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in Perl/Python/TCL and Linux OS
  • Experience with CAD tool development and enhancement, including scripting and automation.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, RTL coding, and gate-level netlists.
  • Experience in development of integrated software and/or hardware environment
