CodeMonkey is looking for a Full Stack Tech Team Lead for a full time position at our office in Tel Aviv.

As the Tech Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding our development team while maintaining a substantial focus on direct technical contribution. This role emphasizes active participation in development activities while providing technical leadership and mentorship to the team.

You'll be leading a small, focused team where every member has significant impact and visibility. Working directly with the CTO, you'll have the opportunity to meaningfully shape our technological direction and contribute to products that impact learners around the world.

• Dedicate a significant portion of your time (over 90%) to hands-on development and technical implementation
• Drive code quality and technical excellence through active contribution to our codebase
• Provide technical direction and oversight for a small team of two developers
• Enable team productivity by resolving complex technical challenges
• Foster the professional development of team members through technical mentorship

• Strong programming skills with deep expertise in web technologies
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions
• Technical leadership background beneficial but not required - we value exceptional individual contributors ready to grow into leadership
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills

• Shares our passion for Computer Science education
• Experience with modern Ruby on Rails
• Experience in EdTech
• Mobile development experience
• Game development experience
