On October 7th, together with partners, we established Israel Tech Guard. As part of this initiative, we created a significant techno-operational setup at a large scale in collaboration with various technological and combat units within the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).
We are currently seeking 4–5 top-tier professionals (men and women) for an extended reserve duty position (at least one quarter), under “high-tech” conditions. This role is both challenging and highly impactful, operating at the forefront of the IDF’s operational and technological efforts. The employment format is through reserve duty or emergency call-up (Tzav 8).
Requirements:
- Leading high-velocity technological development according to dynamic operational requirements.
- Working closely with IDF technological and combat units, making a decisive contribution to national security.
- Providing quick and creative solutions to complex operational challenges, employing a hands-on, practical approach.
- Collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent service for non-technical “clients.”
- Participating in at least two on-site workdays per week in Tel Aviv (with an option to extend up to five days per week).
Mandatory Requirements:
- Commitment and Strong Work Ethic: Seriousness, responsibility, ability to work in a team, and a drive to make a significant impact on national security.
- Massive Professional Experience (10+ Years)
- Experience in backend or data science at a high level.
- Backend: Python is a must, nodejs, fastapi, typescript is nice to have.
- Damascenes: NLP (classical, and LLMs) experience, or Machine Vision (classical and Deep) experience.
- Ability to serve as a “Swiss Army knife” with a broad, system-wide perspective and adaptability based on evolving needs.
- Experience in a Dynamic Startup: Managing and developing under uncertainty and shifting requirements, working with users/customers who are not necessarily tech-savvy.
- High Level of Service Orientation: Ability to effectively support various internal and external stakeholders.
- Active Reserve Duty Service: Availability and willingness to commit to at least two days a week in Tel Aviv offices (with an option to extend to five days) for a minimum of three months.
- Willingness to Serve under Tzav 8 (Emergency Call-Up): If necessary and in accordance with directives.
Advantage:
