The Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Virtualization team is looking for an Intern with some experience in software/hardware security and virtualization technologies to join us in the Raanana office. In this role, you will contribute to the Confidential Cluster project, which is aimed to integrate confidential computing technologies into Red Hat OpenShift product. You'll be helping the team with validating and integrating the solution on various public cloud platforms. This long-term internship will allow you to gain experience in the growing field of confidential computing and get familiar with how it can be integrated into various customer scenarios and use-cases through Red Hat products.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the research and development discussion for the product.
- Work on validating the support on new and existing public cloud platforms and reporting bugs..
- Contribute to the documentation and process improvements.
Required Skills
- Experience with programming languages such as C, and Python with Rust experience being a plus.
- Good understanding of software/hardware security concepts.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Basic understanding of public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2026 or 2027
- Must be available for the internship from May 2025 till April 2026
