A leading company in hybrid propulsion systems, specializing in innovative technologies for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones, is looking for a hands-on Embedded Software Engineer to join our development team. This role includes active participation in all stages of development, integration, and testing of electronic systems, including designing and manufacturing electronic components and advanced wiring systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Developing embedded software for microprocessors and implementing software architecture according to the company’s systems.

- Developing and implementing the HAL layer for communication between various components.

- Performing Bring-Up for advanced development environments such as Microchip Studio, including code adaptation and performance optimization.

- Developing and implementing the HAL layer for communication between various components (e.g., SPI, CAN-Bus, Mav-Link).

- Software and hardware integration in collaboration with other development teams.

- Documenting, maintaining, and upgrading code, including support and adaptations for different hardware versions.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in Embedded development for embedded systems. Previous experience in the UAV field – an advantage.

Key Skills

- Proficiency in C / C++.

- Experience in developing drivers and low-level software layers for hardware components.

- Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN-Bus, SPI, UART, Mav-Link.

- Experience in software and hardware integration, including Bring-Up and system testing.

- Ability to work as part of a team alongside hardware and systems engineers.
