We are seeking an exceptional Senior Fullstack Engineer who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge frontend technologies and robust backend systems. This role is perfect for a passionate technologist who views frontend development as both an art and a science.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Tomorrow.io, You’ll be a focal point and expert in our frontend technology and performance, deliver scalable, high quality weather products focusing on business impact with a delightful user experience. You'll Deal with a bunch of technological challenges in areas such as web performance and scale, high standards, good user experience, clean-code, and more. Constantly improve the process, adopt new technologies and create better products.

What you'll do:

• Lead frontend development for our main SaaS platform
• Architect and implement high-performance client applications
• Design and manage microfrontend architectures
• Optimize frontend performance and user experience
• Develop complex UI components with advanced interactions
• Implement WebGL and map-based visualizations
• Collaborate closely with the other teams to create seamless full-stack solutions
• Manage webpack configurations and build processes
• Drive frontend architectural decisions

What you bring:

• Frontend Leadership & Expertise:
• Minimum 4 years Frontend development experience
• Deep experience with React and its ecosystem, including state management, hooks, and component architecture.
• Solid knowledge of Webpack and modern build tools to optimize bundling, performance, and asset delivery.
• Familiarity with WebGL or other advanced browser-based rendering technologies is a strong advantage.
• Experience designing and implementing microfrontend architectures to enable scalable and modular frontend development.
• A passion for frontend performance metrics, including load times, rendering performance, and optimizing user experience.

• Backend Collaboration:
• Minimum 2 years backend development experience
• Working knowledge of Node.js and microservices architecture to collaborate effectively with backend teams.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL is a plus, though not the primary focus of the role.

• Software Design and Problem-Solving:
• Strong software design skills, with a particular focus on clean, maintainable, and modular frontend architecture.
• Experience solving product challenges with elegant, performant, and user-focused solutions.

• Ownership & Accountability:
• You take full responsibility for your work, ensuring reliability and trustworthiness from start to finish.
• Excellent self-management skills, with the ability to estimate effort, prioritize effectively, and deliver in a predictable manner.
