Job Description

SW Engineer
Join Philips and to develop Philips Image Management solution which serves the different

steps in the Radiology workflow. Philips Image Management solution provides a scalable,

local and remote, Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solution for

hospitals and related institutions/sites, which will archive, distribute, retrieve, and display

images and data from hospital modalities and information systems.

As a Software Developer, you will be involved in developing challenging software modules

and systems within complex and advanced environments.

Your role:
  • The design, implementation, integration, and test of a (sub) system, component, or

module in high quality, according to requirements and on time.

  • Comply and align with software development professionalism standards within the

team (processes and methodologies, quality of requirements, design, coding, and

testing).

  • Carrying out complicated development and prototyping tasks.
  • Having a good understanding of the market needs and the ability to translate them to

implementation requirements while considering the overall solution.

  • Work on multiple projects, including both at new product life cycle development as

well as maintenance of an already released product.

  • Promote domain knowledge, innovative thinking, and customer understanding.
  • Promote trust, openness and leverage external capabilities locally and globally

You're the right fit if:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science- Must
  • At least 7 years of experience in SW Development
  • Proven experience in C++ and Object Oriented Design
  • Proven experience in managed languages such as C#/.NET Core or Java

Preferred

  • Experience in Web technology programming - HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS,

Angular/React - Advantage

  • Experience in Cloud development with a good understanding of CI/CD pipeline -

Advantage

  • Experience in writing Microservices - Advantage
  • System aspect background/experience in developing enterprise solutions -

Advantage

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English fluency
  • Experience in international organization/medical devices background - Advantage

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
