- Lead a team of data scientists in developing NLP and real-time analytics solutions.
- Design, train, and optimize LLMs, BERT models, and classical NLP pipelines.
- Deploy models for both local and cloud-based environments, ensuring high performance.
- Work closely with DevOps, Fullstack teams, and Product Managers to integrate ML models into production systems.
- Balance between 70% product delivery and 30% research, collaborating with a dedicated research team.
- Engage with operational customers to understand their needs and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
Requirements:
Requirements - Must Have
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science & Machine Learning.
- 3+ years of experience leading a data science team.
- Strong proficiency in Python and one of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Proven experience with LLMs, NLP models (BERT, transformers), and real-time analytics.
- Experience deploying ML models both on local environments and cloud platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, PMs, and operational customers.
Requirements - Advantage
- Knowledge of data anonymization, encryption, and regulatory compliance (ISO, NIST, SOC 2 Type 2).
- Experience with MLOps and working alongside DevOps teams.
- Background in defense, military, or mission-critical AI applications.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
