Full Stack Team Lead @ Pheno.AI

We are an early-stage startup, Pheno.AI, with a novel approach to personalized medicine based on a groundbreaking project from the Weizmann Institute. We possess the world's deepest phenotype datasets of healthy and diseased individuals and develop advanced AI algorithms to analyze them. Our products are designed for thousands of researchers and developers globally.

We are seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Team Lead to lead our Applications Team, which is at the forefront of managing health data collection and integration from external applications, wearable devices, as well as our own clinic systems. As the team lead, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and overseeing seamless integrations, ensuring data integrity, and driving innovation in health data management solutions - including managing backend servers, cloud infrastructure, data management systems, mobile apps, and websites. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development process, from design to implementation, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Conduct design and code reviews to uphold high-quality code standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
• Integration of external data sources (wearable devices, medical data sources, etc.)
• through interfaces and SDKs.

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Team Lead.
• Strong proficiency in Python, backend frameworks, and database management.
• Strong proficiency in experience with React.
• Experience with React Native is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Work on-site in Tel Aviv at least three days a week; our office is within walking distance of train and light rail stations for easy commuting.
