What You'll Do:

  • Your Mission. Design, develop, and deliver backend features that directly impact OpenWeb's core products, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • High Impact. Enhance your team's technical capabilities by writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and sharing best practices to improve overall engineering quality.
  • Building Scalable, High-Performance Systems. Develop and maintain a scalable, high-performance system leveraging a modern tech stack, including Golang, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Own your mission. Develop high-priority projects that contribute to making OpenWeb's products the most reliable, high-velocity solutions on the market.
  • Lead. Work closely with your team to build and optimize microservices, tackle large-scale engineering challenges, and ensure system reliability.
  • Dream Team. You'll join an agile dev squad of engineers who are all highly talented, very collaborative and excited to hear your opinion.
  • You will report to the Engineering Team Lead.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience building highly scalable, SaaS web products.
  • Fluent in any programming languages such as Golang, Node.js, Python or similar.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, K8s/ECS/Nomad or similar, AWS or similar public cloud.
  • Vast experience in microservices architecture distributed systems & high scale environments
  • Experience in the AdTech and/or Media & Social Media industries as well as fast-paced, global, scaling startup environments is a plus!
