In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power the shopping experiences of millions of users. You will tackle complex challenges, such as optimizing performance for systems handling extreme traffic, building scalable architectures, and integrating cutting-edge AI models into our platform.

• Architect and implement backend services for very high-capacity web applications.
• Collaborate with a close-knit, agile team to design scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Optimize performance and reliability using Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Run and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Drive innovation by integrating advanced AI and machine learning models into production.
• Debug and solve complex system-level challenges across the entire stack.
• Contribute to building a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration.

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in high-capacity, high-performance systems.
• Proficiency in Python and strong experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of scalable system architectures and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a "get-it-done" mindset.
