About the Role

Kayhut's AI & Data Science group is expanding, and we are looking for expert researchers with industry experience who are passionate about solving data-centric challenges using Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), and statistical methods.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work with diverse and complex data sources spanning structured tabular data, text, and images. You will be responsible for designing innovative approaches to extract meaningful insights from noisy data and deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, analyze, and deploy production-grade ML models across various domains, including structured data, text, and images.
2. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML models into real-world products and services.
3. Work closely with customers and product managers to ensure daily customer success by aligning ML solutions with business needs.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and industry advancements in AI and ML, applying cutting-edge techniques to solve complex problems.

Required Qualifications

1. M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
2. 4+ years of hands-on industry experience in Data Science and ML, including developing and deploying production-grade algorithms.
3. Excellent Python programming skills, including proficiency in ML and data science libraries such as sci-kit-learn, PyTorch, and pandas.
4. Practical experience in developing LLM applications.
5. Familiarity with MLOps tools and concepts, including Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, SQL, and Airflow.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to present complex ideas clearly.

Bonus Points – What Makes You Stand Out

1. Experience in the Cybersecurity industry.
2. A strong research background with publications in top-tier ML conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, etc.
3. Hands-on experience in fine-tuning Large Language Models or building end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) agents.
