Agora is an early-stage Fintech startup based in TLV, on a mission to revolutionize the way Real Estate firms and investors manage their capital. Our Investment Management software helps companies raise and preserve more capital by automating their back-office operations, increasing their investors' satisfaction, and providing them with advanced tools for better marketing efforts.

About the Role

Agora is seeking an experienced Engineering Squad Manager to lead one of our product squads. The squad consists of PM, fullstack developers, QA and a designer. We believe in building autonomous and independent squads that can take over ambitious challenges and develop high end products, helping Agora become our industry leaders. Your job will be to oversee and orchestrate this diverse group of talented and extremely dedicated engineers.

What are we looking for?

• Lead a squad of full-stack engineers.
• Oversee the whole development cycle of high-quality industry-leading products that have a direct impact on the company goals.
• Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, set priorities, and establish project timelines.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and across other departments.
• Monitor and improve team performance, productivity, and overall efficiency.
• Mentor your team members on a technical and personal level, helping them grow and develop their careers.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, learning, and personal growth.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of at least 3 years in leading software development teams.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer - web-oriented.
• Proven experience with a modern FE framework (preferably React).
• Strong technical background and professional experience in backend development. Experience with Node.js and TypeScript is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for creating new products, understanding client needs and thriving for impact.
• Fluent English speaker (verbal and written communication is a must)
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, or military equivalent certifications
