Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join the group!

What will You do?

  • Develop and deliver large-scale, highly-distributed, real-time systems, that are the core of serving millions of vehicles globally.
  • You will Work on our entire technological stack, from web and mobile applications to backend services on Azure.
  • Deal with the entire development-chain, Client/Server/DB integration, source control & more.
  • Integrate cutting-edge new technology with large vehicle management and operation systems. Utilize Azure cloud services for hosting, scaling, and deploying applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • involved in the complete software development life cycle, from initial documentation and design, through to coding, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Working in an Agile development environment, using tools like JIRA to manage tasks and ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Backend Technologies: Strong experience with Node.js/Java, and frameworks suitable for backend development.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Storage.
  • Microservices Architecture: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with microservices architecture, service-oriented design principles, and implementing highly scalable and resilient microservices.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deploying and managing microservices in a cloud environment.
  • API Development & Integration: Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and Web APIs, along with working with API Gateways and Azure API Management.
  • Database Management: Proficient in working with relational (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB), and designing scalable database schemas.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Strong understanding of event-driven architecture using tools like Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, or Apache Kafka.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Experience setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Familiar with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and logging best practices to monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications and microservices.


Design & Architecture:

  • Scalable System Design: Ability to design systems that can handle millions of concurrent users with high availability, fault tolerance, and low latency.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience optimizing backend performance to handle large-scale traffic, including caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Azure Cache).
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security principles for cloud services and microservices, including OAuth, JWT, encryption, and managing Azure Active Directory (AAD) for authentication and authorization.


Soft Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in large-scale distributed systems and quickly provide solutions.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and operations engineers.
  • Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
