We're looking for a talented
Automation Engineer to join our team in
Tel-Aviv.
As a Java Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation tests for a variety of complex systems deployed across multiple platforms (On-premises and Cloud).
This will involve participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and performing hands-on activities such as; test plan design/test automation design, development of tests automation and code reviews.
Ideal candidate must be familiar with test automation processes, methodologies, and must have a track record of very high technical competence and individual accomplishments that include
strong coding skills.
Imperva is working on the core of our Security products, as well as on some of the most advanced security related features and complex technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- A technical pivot for Java, SW design and architecture, and automation infrastructure issues.
- Exhibit advanced technical expertise in designing, developing, and testing automation.
- Investigating, learning, and writing Automation tests for new product features.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Investigate test failures in depth to identify root causes, review system logs for insights, and collaborate with development teams to find and implement a fix.
- 2+ years of experience in JAVA or .NET development – Required.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent – Required.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) – Required.
- Knowledge with Databases and SQL – Advantage.
- Experience with working in UNIX/Linux environments – Advantage.
- Experience in networking and/or network security – Advantage.
- Personal skills: Motivated and eager to learn, fast learner, team player, thorough and meticulous.
