Our team is part of the Application Security organization responsible for developing products and platforms focused on the security of web applications. Our Client-Side Protection & Compliance (CPC) Engineering team develops innovative products focusing on client-side JavaScript threats. We defend our customers' users from ever-changing attacks and data theft methods. We provide distributed protection from web attacks with on-demand scalability.

Help secure the web with cutting-edge client-side security solutions.

You will be part of a startup-like team that is responsible for the end-to-end development of the Client-Side Protection & Compliance product.

As a Senior TypeScript Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for-

• Implementing some of the most cutting-edge technologies around browser internals, backend microservices, and distributed systems.
• Handling the complexities of the highly distributed nature and high throughput of the traffic of the Akamai Client-Side Protection & Compliance solution.
• Working with engineers, researchers, DevOps, and other technical teams to craft first-class technical implementations.
• Developing and improving all aspects of the solution.
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will-

• 5+ years of experience working with Node.js, TypeScript - a must
• Have experience with Angular .
• Have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern system design principles.
• Have experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, etc.)
• Have experience with streaming data platform (Kafka, Red Panda).
• Have knowledge of web architecture and protocols (CDN, HTML, DOM, JS, HTTP, HTTPS,TLS/SSH, IPv4/v6).
• Have experience with browser APIs and browser research- MitM Proxies, Devtools, deobfuscation, debugging.
