What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled
Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines from scratch. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, has extensive experience with industry-leading tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have a deep understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization, along with the ability to manage and optimize production deployments. What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines from scratch using GitHub Actions and workflows to support secure and reliable development processes.
- Automate and optimize build, test, and deployment workflows for cross-platform agents, browser extensions, and backend services.
- Manage and maintain production deployments in Kubernetes (K8s) environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues in production and staging environments to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Monitor and optimize CI/CD processes to reduce build times and enhance pipeline reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement secure DevOps practices, including secret management, vulnerability scanning, artifact validation, and compliance enforcement within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with security engineers, QA, and product teams to ensure CI/CD workflows align with security, performance, and delivery goals.
- Oversee GitHub repository management, including workflows, branch policies, and collaboration tools to ensure streamlined version control.
- Stay current with emerging tools and practices in CI/CD, Kubernetes, and production system management to continuously improve processes.
Preferred qualifications:
- GitHub/GitHub Actions or other industry-leading CI Expertise: Proven experience designing and managing workflows in GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) to build scalable and reliable pipelines.
- Kubernetes (K8s) Proficiency: Hands-on experience with managing production deployments in Kubernetes, including scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- CI/CD Mastery: Extensive experience in CI/CD pipeline design, optimization, and automation using industry best practices.
- Production Environment Management: Knowledge of managing production deployments, including performance tuning, incident response, and rollback strategies.
- Containerization Skills: Proficiency with Docker for building, deploying, and managing containerized workloads.
- Scripting and Automation: Strong skills in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for automating tasks and workflows.
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for managing production systems and CI/CD workflows.
- Security in DevOps: Experience with implementing secure pipelines, including secret management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
- Monitoring and Observability: Experience with monitoring tools for CI/CD and production environments to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Adaptability and Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and proactively tackle challenges.
