About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven student to join our team as a Student Intern in DevOps and Systems Engineering. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives on solving challenges, and can push tasks forward with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and maintaining virtualized environments using VMware.
Develop, test, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Support system administration tasks across Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu and CentOS.
Contribute to automation projects using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance with Jenkins.
Troubleshoot and optimize networking configurations.
Write and maintain scripts in Python and Bash to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
Work closely with team members to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware).
Understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS).
Experience or coursework in programming and scripting (Python, Bash).
Awareness of configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Basic understanding of networking concepts.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins) is a plus.
