Real Time Group LTD, Software Solutions Center is seeking for an experienced FPGA Engineer to

design, develop, and implement Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)-based solutions for

high-performance and mission-critical systems.

As an FPGA Engineer you will work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to

develop digital designs for applications in industries such as aerospace, defense and embedded

systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

Develop FPGA architectures and RTL designs using VHDL, Verilog, or

System Verilog.

Create FPGA modules for signal processing, communication protocols, and

control systems.

Optimize designs for power consumption, timing, area, and performance.

2. Simulation and Testing:

Simulate and verify FPGA designs using tools like ModelSim or Xilinx Vivado.

Perform functional and timing analysis through simulation and timing closure

techniques.

Develop and execute testbenches for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.

3. Implementation and Debugging:

Synthesize designs and implement them on FPGA platforms such as Microsemi (strongly preferred), Xilinx, or Intel

(Altera).

Interface FPGA modules with external peripherals like DDR memory, Ethernet,

and PCIe.

4. Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation, including block diagrams, timing

reports, and design specifications.

Provide support for compliance testing and certifications as required.

5. Collaboration:

Work with hardware engineers to integrate FPGA designs with PCBs and

hardware systems.

Collaborate with software teams for FPGA-based firmware development and

driver integration.

Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements to optimize performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

BSC in Electrical Engineering - Must.

Hands on experience using Microsemi tools - Must.

7+ years of experience high-speed design - Must.

Experience with instrumentation like oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers for

debugging embedded systems at HW level - Must.

7+ years of experience with ORCAD/XDX designer - Must.

Experience with software, firmware design and programming in C/C++ - Advantage.

Experience configuring peripherals such as USB, SPI, SFP, DDR, I2C, UART - Advantage.
