What you'll bring

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in applying advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve real-world business problems.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python or R, and experience with relevant data science libraries and tools (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Expertise in developing and deploying predictive and prescriptive models.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform advanced data analysis and extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Experience in designing and conducting rigorous experiments and applying statistical analysis methods.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • A strategic mindset with experience in developing business cases and learning plans.
  • Experience with platform thinking and considering the broader ecosystem implications of data solutions.
  • A degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)

How you will lead

  • Apply Predictive and Prescriptive Modeling: Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, to develop predictive and prescriptive models that address critical business challenges and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct Advanced Data Analysis & Platform Thinking: Perform in-depth data analysis, explore complex datasets, and identify patterns and trends that inform strategic decision-making. Consider the broader platform ecosystem when designing and implementing data solutions.
  • Lead Experimentation & Statistical Analysis: Design and execute robust experiments, employing rigorous statistical methods to validate hypotheses, measure the impact of interventions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate Strategic Thinking & Systems Thinking: approach problem-solving with a holistic and strategic mindset, considering the interconnectedness of systems and the long-term implications of decisions.
  • Develop Business Cases & Learning Plans: build compelling business cases to justify data science initiatives, and create clear learning plans to guide project execution and ensure successful outcomes
  • Communicate with Data Storytelling and Influence: effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, using data visualization and storytelling techniques to influence stakeholders and drive action.
