Elbit Systems’ Radio Department group develops and integrates complex MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks) systems for tactical communication at the battlefield. The MANET systems can contain dozens and even hundreds of Radios that needs to communicate and transfer data, voice and video services throughout the network under tactical environment and conditions

For a new and innovative product, we are looking for a Communication Network Developer who has knowledge with IP networking. The student will be part of a team that research, designs and develops a tactical MANET system at the network layer, including cutting edge wireless communication technologies and data processing

The team works intensively with network simulations and virtualizations which models the radios and their behaviors within the network. You will be part of developing the virtual radio system

Requirements

Engineering or computer science student with knowledge at communication layers, an advantage for advanced diplomas

Undergraduates' students with at least 1.5 more studying years left

Passion For

Deeply understanding large and complex MANET communication systems

Researching complex system problems

Learning new technologies

Software Development Skills

Proficiency in: C/C++ and Python

Acquaintance with OOD, Multithreading, Socket/File IO, Operating systems concepts.

Significant Advantage For Proficiency In Any Of

IP Routing Protocols, CORE and EMANE emulators

CCNA certification is an advantage
