Position Overview:

Infiniplex is seeking a talented and driven Bioinformatics Software Engineer to join our cutting-edge team. This role focuses on bioinformatics research, computational pipeline development, and collaboration with the wet lab team to drive innovation and advance our mission of providing state-of-the-art patient monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automating Research Pipelines:
• Develop and automate bioinformatics workflows and analysis pipelines to support the lab's strategic goals.
• Pipeline Development and Maintenance:
• Design, implement, and maintain computational pipelines for efficient genomic data analysis.
• Data Integration:
• Work with the wet lab team to integrate experimental data into bioinformatics analysis, delivering meaningful insights.
• Documentation:
• Maintain precise records in line with regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Scientific Writing:
• Contribute to internal and external reports, including research summaries and presentations.
• Supporting Team Goals:
• Take on tasks to align with broader company objectives.
• Staying Current:
• Keep up with advancements in bioinformatics to implement the latest methods and tools.

Required Qualifications:

· A degree ( B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Strong statistics

background

· Proven experience in bioinformatics analysis and computational pipeline development.

· Strong programming skills in relevant languages (e.g., Python, R, Rust, or similar).

· Experience with genomic data analysis tools and platforms.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and record-keeping.

· A proactive mindset with a commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in the field.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

·      Love of coding, reflected in an impressive GitHub library with your contributions.

·      Experience with AlphaFold or other relevant machine-learning tools

·      Pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or medical industry experience

·      Demonstrated ability to innovate and contribute to developing new tools or approaches.
