About the Position


BIScience is looking for a Data Engineer to join our R&D team in Israel, Tel Aviv.

Our Data Engineering team is responsible for all the data processing and infrastructure of the company. Working on a diverse and challenging environment providing data solutions to all company products under deadlines.


As a part of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for:


  • Design and maintain schemas and data structures in our DWH.
  • Develop data integration processes and pipelines using Bash, Python and SQL.
  • Tune and optimize the business processes using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Work with AWS persistence services and APIs.
  • Interact with global R&D and Customer Support groups.



What skills you should have?



  • 5 years of hands-on experience working with large SQL DWH and developing pipelines in a BigData environment - a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL with advanced analytics data orientation - a must.
  • Proficient with Python programing and OOP concepts - a must.
  • Experience with Linux environments and Bash scripting - a must.
  • Very good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts - a must.
  • Experience in a Cloud Native environemnts, such as AWS - a must.
  • Experience with Snowflake or Vertica – an advantage.
  • Great analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
