Onebeat is seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Team Leader with expertise in Ruby on Rails to lead our dynamic development team. In this pivotal role, you will architect and develop scalable backend systems, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in software development, all while driving the technical vision of our projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of back-end developers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance back-end systems using Ruby on Rails.
• Oversee the development lifecycle from conception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of software projects.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge among team members.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and provide solutions to enhance system efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure Onebeat remains competitive.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in back-end development, with at least 3 years specifically in Ruby on Rails ( V6 and above)
• Proven experience in leading development teams and managing software projects.
• Strong understanding of database management systems, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
