Nova is looking for a highly capable and experienced Computational Geometry Expert for developing and implementing advanced computational geometry solutions for metrology challenges in Nova’s CTO group.


Nova develops metrology products for the semiconductor industry, allowing measurement of the device geometry (transistors, memory devices etc.) with sub-nanometer accuracy as well as material properties. The ever-shrinking dimensions of devices require a corresponding development of new and improved metrology technologies, which is the responsibility of the CTO group.


What you will be doing:

Play a key role in improving and expanding Nova’s Computational Geometry capabilities, from idea inception to implementation and maintenance. Some of the relevant projects will involve technologies in preliminary stages, and the candidate is expected to join the team in proposing new Computational Geometry directions and approaches for research.


Requirements:

  • Master or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or Applied Math
  • Knowledge and experience (5+ years) in Computational Geometry:
  • Mesh-based 3D data and algorithms development
  • Implementation of computational geometry algorithms
  • Experience in 3D Visualization with OpenGL or similar
  • Experience in UI development
  • 3+ year's experience in C# or C++ or Java programming
  • Experience in CAD architecture development - Advantages
  • Experience in Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) - Advantages
  • High motivation and independency
  • Team player
