Nova’s newest technology flagship project is looking for an algorithm expert to expand the algorithm solution and possibilities, in its evolvement into a shippable first-of-a-kind software product. All this while working closely with the technical and system teams abroad, addressing their needs in time-constrained conditions.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement algorithms for a novel technology.
• Review, improve, fix, and implement current algorithms.
• Solve complex optimization problems.
• Analyze the needs and gaps of the project’s algo prototype and lead their solutions.

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in theoretical physics.
• 5+ years of experience in algorithm development or a PhD in Theoretical physics.
• Development experience in Python.
• Acquaintance with Matlab – an advantage.
• Experience in modeling algorithms – an advantage.
• Computational physics or computational electromagnetics experience - an advantage
• Ability to work non-conventional hours (late night) occasionally and travel abroad (once a quarter or less)
• Fluent in English.
