Join the success story of Elbit Systems E-LynX family of products, a leading solution in tactical communication adopted in Israel and worldwide. We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Networking Algorithm Developer to join our Radio Department in Netanya and contribute to the development of cutting-edge simulation technologies for MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks)

As part of the team, you will work on large-scale projects that shape the future of battlefield communications, enabling data, voice, and video services for networks containing dozens to hundreds of radios in tactical environments. You'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and validating MANET protocols using advanced simulation tools, contributing to a product that makes a tangible impact

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance network simulation products to model MANET systems and behaviours under tactical conditions

Design, develop, and optimize algorithms, focusing on the MAC layer

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulation insights into product development

Analyse and validate MANET protocols to ensure robust performance in real-world conditions

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (M.Sc. is an advantage)

At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development, focusing on algorithm design and optimization

Strong background in developing and optimizing algorithms, particularly in networking systems, with an emphasis on the MAC layer

Proven expertise in protocol design and performance optimization for real-time or distributed systems

Proficiency in Python for scripting and developing maintainable tools or simulations (advantage)

Familiarity with advanced concepts such as reinforcement learning, AI-driven optimization, or data-driven decision-making (advantage)

Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., OPNET Modeler, OMNET++) (advantage)

Knowledge of CUDA or parallel processing techniques for performance-critical applications (advantage)
