Responsibilities

Microsoft Threat Protection group is building an industry leading security product that is deployed in tens of millions of devices: Windows, Windows Server, macOS and all common Linux enterprise distributions. The group puts an emphasis on top-notch engineering and quality to deliver innovative sensors and a highly scalable and stable cloud platform.

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Infrastructure and Development Experience team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions that enhance the engineering experience. Your responsibilities will include developing tools, automations, and scalable frameworks to streamline development workflows and improve efficiency across the team. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, compliant, and optimized for operational excellence in a fast-paced DevOps environment.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc./M.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of software development experience, including deep knowledge in infrastructures, resources, and underlying technologies and industry standards (Azure/AWS, K8s, Auth&AuthZ, CI/CD frameworks, etc.).
  • 5+ years of tech leadership position in Engineering/DevOps teams: architecture, technical leadership & mentorship, project management.
  • Lead complex designs, implement with quality and scale, mentor engineers.
