Upon joining Port, you’ll collaborate closely with designers and developers to bring complex, user-friendly solutions to life using a modern tech stack. We value clean, responsive design and reusability, so we’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in React and an eye for component separation, state management, and performance optimization.

What you'll do: 💼

At Port, we’re building a platform by developers, for developers. In this role, you’ll own Port’s frontend infrastructure and equip our R&D with the latest frontend technologies, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and an accessible UI for our global user base.

Our frontend stack centers around React and TypeScript, with Tailwind CSS, Storybook, and Figma as tools for streamlined design collaboration and style consistency.

Beyond your technical contributions, you’ll have opportunities to mentor team members, contribute to UI/UX decisions, and help guide our growing team to meet Port’s goals. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the look and feel of our product and providing best practices for frontend development.

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Port, you’ll join a collaborative team of skilled developers and designers, working hand in hand to bring our developer portal to life. Your expertise and insights will be essential in creating cohesive, user-centered solutions that reflect our high standards for quality and performance.

You’ll also work closely with our product managers, offering your frontend perspective to ensure that every feature meets both technical and design specifications. Your role will connect you with customers and our product community, allowing you to shape Port’s evolution through continuous user feedback.

Requirements:

• The skillset you’ll bring: 🧮
• 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Ability to collaborate with designers and implement responsive, visually appealing components
• In-depth knowledge of dealing with frontend architecture: component separation and reusability
• Experience with state management, both in simple and complex applications (React Context API, Redux, or similar)
• Emphasis on code quality, structure, and readability
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, memoization)
• Experience with frontend testing and visual regression
• Proven problem-solving skills, self-learning ability, and adaptability to new tools and methods
• Fluent communication in Hebrew and English
