Position Summary
This is a technical internship position designed to provide qualified students with the opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on work experience with F5’s Application Delivery Networking products. You will work with F5’s software engineers to build a continuous integration process for F5 WAF on top of different platforms and help secure our customers’ applications and APIs.
Primary Responsibilities
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Building internal developer's tools and pipelines
Ensure DevOps infrastructure and services maintain the required level of availability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
Work with multiple teams and maintain solutions used in production and testing environments.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Have Strong collaboration and communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
Experience as a Support engineer or System Administrator.
Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Familiar with at least one Script or programming language, such as: Go, Python, and Shell scripting.
Experience with source control tools (Git, Perforce), and familiarity with CI/CD principles.
Knowledge and experience in IT and data center technologies.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Qualifications
3rd or 4th-year student working toward an academic degree in computer science,
engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
The duration of the internship is 1,040 hours. The candidate must be available
to start immediately and should be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per
week, up to 100 hours per month.
