We are looking for a Data Science Team Lead to join our fast-growing team; to help us promote our data-for-justice revolution. We developed a platform that uses AI and Machine Learning to discover harmful legal violations, securing compensation for millions of victims.

As the captain of the ship, your main responsibility is to navigate the team's course, chart a path toward success, and make sure everyone is on board. you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering actionable, end-to-end solutions that drive the company's mission of detecting and resolving legal violationsץ

Additionally, you'll need to stay up-to-date with the latest industry and academic trends and keep the team abreast of any new advancements that will give them an edge in the field.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will drive innovation and execution, tasked with both designing groundbreaking approaches and realizing them.

As a pivotal leader, you will:

• Impact and Solution Development: Spearhead the creation of transformative solutions by leading a team of data scientists. Your work will significantly impact global challenges, aligning with and advancing our company's vision.
• Team Leadership: Manage the performance and professional growth of your team, providing technical mentorship with a focus on NLP.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives and methods. Regularly communicate progress, insights, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in data science, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in machine learning, NLP, and programming (Python). Experienced with large datasets and data engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team of data scientists towards achieving impactful solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, leveraging them to build scalable ML/AI applications.
• A passion for innovation and an adventurous spirit in exploring new solutions and technologies.
