- Build and maintain the software that autonomically controls and operates a state of the art , nano resolution scanning Electrons Microscope Systems.

What you'll be doing:
- Lead the design and development of complex software systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software architecture and design requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in coding and design.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture and design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
What should you have?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) as a Software Architect or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java / Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud / hosting software (e.g., Docker, K8S,) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
