Defender for IoT is a new group at Microsoft responsible for building advanced security solutions to protect IoT & OT devices at global scale on top of Azure. This group is built from a combination of cloud and security experts with a recent acquisition of CyberX (IoT & OT security startup). The product combines cutting edge cloud technology with security understanding and fast-growing market of IoT.
Responsibilities
- Developing end-to-end products, spanning from client applications to cloud solutions, with a significant number of them in their early incubation stages.
- Offer technical guidance and serve as a subject matter expert concerning Defender for IoT product portfolio
- Building deep knowledge around IoT Security and providing our customers with meaningful security value in this evolving domain
- Support delivering successful integrations within OT networks using Microsoft Defender products
- Provide advisory and work closely with customers including on-site activites abroad.
Qualifications
- BSc degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of commercial OOD software development experience using Java or similar Good understanding of network communication protocols
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Ability to successfully communicate & present to a range of technical and executive stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew, including communication with customers, developers, and Product Managers
- Willingness to travel (25% of working time)
Other Requirements –
Proficiency in operational technologies including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software, RTUs, HMI, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Proficient in Python programming
