abra R&D is seeking an experienced Android Team Lead!

The ideal candidate will lead the development of our cutting-edge Android applications, driving technical excellence and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Android applications
• Manage a team of Android developers, providing mentorship and guidance
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security of the Android applications
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android development
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Understanding of software design patterns and architecture (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Knowledge of fintech industry and related regulations is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial or banking applications
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles
