What are we looking for?

Checkmarx CxOne platformis the main Checkmarx solution for Application Security Testing. High Accuracy and precision of vulnerability findings is one of the key parameters for the adoption of AST solutions.

In this context, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student with a keen interest in DevOps practices to join our DevOps group. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading technologies and contribute to the seamless deployment and automation of our software security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the DevOps team to support the development, testing, and deployment of software applications.

· Assist in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.

· Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.

· Assist in configuring and maintaining build pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Learn how to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring reliable and efficient software releases.

· Contribute to the monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the availability and performance of our applications.

· Assist in the management and maintenance of cloud-based services.

· Learn and contribute to the management and deployment of containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s). Gain hands-on experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and assist in the setup and maintenance of K8s clusters.

· Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

What is needed to succeed?

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.

• Technical Skills:

• CI/CD Tools: Proficient with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, CloudFront, RDS, etc.), Azure, or GCP.

• IaC Tools: Strong skills in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.

• Containerization: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management.

• Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git and branching strategies.

• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar.

• Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and CDN configurations.
