Image Sensor Analog Design Student (Haifa – Israel)

ON Semiconductor offers an exciting opportunity in its Image Sensor Technology Development team for a highly motivated student with background in Circuit Design.

Job Summary:

As an Image Sensor & Pixel Circuit Design intern you will engage in designing novel image sensor pixels and related circuits for a variety of applications such as 3D Sensing, High Dynamic Range Sensors, and Computer Vision Systems. You will make a major impact on the development of new technologies and products.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits for advanced CMOS image sensor pixels, drivers, readout circuits and ADCs.
• Conduct analog and mixed signal simulation using industry standard tools.
• Design and integrate proof of concepts and experimental test chips.
• Guide and engage in lab characterization and validation.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams and engage with a multidisciplinary team of experts in different fields of image sensor development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Studying towards B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with at least full year of studies remaining and excellent academic record.
• Demonstrated interest and background in VLSI and circuit design.
• Familiarity with low-noise amplifiers, high resolution ADCs, or optical / physical sensor readout IC is an advantage.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and the ability to execute deliverables on schedule.
• Good verbal & written communication skills for effective communication to multiple teams across various time zones.
