About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applied Data Scientist to join our dynamic Ad-Tech team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, developing machine learning models and pipelines that directly impact the performance and optimization of our advertising solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to drive data-driven decisions and innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ML Pipelines: Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning pipelines for processing large-scale data, from data ingestion to model deployment.
- Model Training & Optimization: Train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models tailored to our Ad-Tech use cases, including but not limited to predictive modeling, recommendation systems, and personalization.
- Data Research & Analysis: Conduct deep research on large datasets to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and inform model development. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into your work.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, traders, software developers, and product managers, to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance of machine learning models in production, identify issues, and iterate on model improvements.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, preferably within the Ad-Tech industry.
- Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with ML frameworks like LightGBM, TensorFlow.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing with BigQuery.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Ad-Tech platforms, Real-Time Bidding (RTB), and digital advertising ecosystems.
- Knowledge of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experiment design methodologies.
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery of machine learning models.
