Role: Senior Manager Web Application

Location: Rosh Haayin - Hybrid

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Development Team Manager to lead our full-stack development team responsible for our company's web application. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the team’s deliverables, ensuring production support and maintenance, and managing both frontend and backend development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, React, and AWS, coupled with excellent leadership and project management skills. Additionally, experience with AI tools and integrating AI capabilities into web applications is essential. As we are a global team, the ability to manage remote developers effectively across different regions and time zones is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a globally distributed team of full-stack developers, providing technical guidance in Java and React, and ensuring efficient use of AWS services.
• Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while fostering a collaborative culture.
• Integrate AI tools and technologies to enhance the web application and develop AI-driven features.
• Manage production support to minimize downtime and ensure high availability of the web application.
• Maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications through best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Communicate effectively across time zones, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Act as the primary stakeholder liaison, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce code review and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a development manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Java and/or React development.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services (or equivalent) and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience using Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse, globally distributed team.
• Experience with production support and a strong understanding of best practices for maintaining high-availability systems.
• Highly desirable: experience with AI tools and integrating AI capabilities into web applications.
