Role Overview
We are looking for exceptional and passionate engineers, to design and implement in-house systems and research tools. As a Backend Infrastructure Engineer in Paragon, you will work on production grade systems that are crucial for the day to day operation of the research group. You will face a variety of different technologies and tools to accomplish a reliable and scalable system, cross-platform automations and complex reverse-engineering challenges.
We are looking for a capable tech enthusiast who’s willing to engineer unique, next generation vulnerability research and reverse engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high quality, testbale and efficient tools and systems using Golang and Python.
- Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of the product.
- Contribute to the team quality by conducting code reviews and collaborating with teammates.
- Work with a variety of different technologies, reverse engineering tools and Data platforms to build a next-generation reverse-engineering ecosystem.
- Work with a wide variety of stakeholders within the Research and R&D groups.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in designing and developing large scale projects
- 2+ years developing microservices with Python and/or Golang
- Solid understanding of Unix-like OS internals
- Quick and independent learner with a passion for cybersecurity research
- Hands on Experience with Microservices Architecture, containers and Kubernetes
- Experience working with databases (SQL / MongoDB / Neo4J)
- Experience with Object Storage (S3/Minio), Queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
Advantages:
- Experience with Reverse Engineering and RE tools like IDA / Ghidra / Jeb
- Experience with writing systems that run on-premise
- Experience with starting new projects from scratch
- Experience in assembly and mobile security research is highly desirable
