Overview
We are looking for a Data Infra Engineer who is experienced in building and maintaining scalable and performant data infrastructures. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization is set up to produce, store, and expose data in a way that supports its future utilization as a strategic differentiator in our product.
You will be part of the infrastructure team working closely with other R&D teams and various functions in the company to rapidly find and iterate over the best data solutions.

What you'll do:
- Ensure that the organization is set up to think about, produce, store, and expose data strategically.
- Implement and maintain production data infrastructure utilizing various technologies such as Athena, Glue, Kafka, MongoDB and Snowflake.
- Enhance data discoverability, manage schemas, APIs, and data contracts.
- Plan and manage data auditing, retention and maintenance, treating data as a product.
- Build infrastructure for data integration into our backend systems built on Node.js/TypeScript, Kotlin and Python.
- Deliver high-quality code, using best practices, that can scale and adapt to growing business needs.
- Working with other teams on infrastructure requirements and ensuring adoption.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AWS services, such as EKS, Lambda, Fargate, RDS, API Gateway, MSK, MQ, Elasticache, IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Experience managing containerized applications in a CI/CD environment.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Datadog/Coralogix,, OpsGenie or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
- Experience with software development languages such as Python, TypeScript, NodeJS - Advantage.
