Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI and machine learning models to solve complex challenges in the plant-based food sector.
• Oversee the deployment of models into production environments, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with domain experts to incorporate specific knowledge into data models and solutions effectively
• Build, lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying best practices to enhance the team's projects.
  
  

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a data science leadership role, with a track record of successful project delivery, preferably from a SaaS company.
• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including their deployment in production environments.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
• Experience in monitoring the performance and quality of models running in production, utilizing appropriate metrics and alerting systems.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks and tools
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data analysis tools and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
