Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the company’s CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage various Amazon Web Services environments across multiple accounts.
• Handle technical challenges like performance, scale, security, and provide root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Provide DevOps solutions to complex architecture challenges.
• Maintain awareness of best industry practices regarding CloudOps, fast deployment, security considerations and monitoring tools.
• Own team delivery, lead both technical and project aspects.
• Manage all aspects of the team, including coaching and mentoring. Establish values such as collaboration, communication, service consciousness, and motivation.
• Collaborate with the R&D team leads and directors to optimize service performance, deployment, reliability, failover, and scale.
• Oversee the team’s deliverables, design, and architecture.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of managerial experience as a DevOps/SRE/Platform engineering manager.
• 4+ years experience in AWS solutions (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, Cloudfront).
• Experience with both Windows and Linux-based systems, an understanding of system performance areas and security.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (such as: Bash/Python).
• Experience with source code management and infrastructure automation tools - Github, Jenkins, Ansible.
• Experience working with version control systems (GitHub) and GitOps flows.
• Experience with managing and troubleshooting cloud and hybrid web environments.
• Experience with database management (Redis, MySQL, ElasticSearch/Opensearch).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration frameworks.

Advantage:

• Experience with MYSQL, ELK, Redis, IIS, and Directory Services
• Experience with Kubernetes, Cloudformation, Terraform, NewRelic
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and familiarity with DevOps cultural principles
