What Your Day Will Look Like

The team is part of the Axonius platform group, which is responsible for all the core infrastructure on which all Axonius products are developed.

The Core team is responsible for the networking layer in the stack and the support of all Axonius deployments which enables horizontal scaling (compute nodes), VPN access to on-prem networks (Gateways), and advanced instances hierarchies (Central Core).

These core features include our properties solutions for networking and data access allows Axonius solutions to fit any complex organization structure.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will research, design, execute and maintain the core components that allows all platform services to communicate, access challenging environments and enable them to support any scale.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team responsible for key Backend infrastructure features in the Axonius Platform such as: Axonius Compute nodes, Axonius Gateways and Axonius Central Core architecture
• Lead development tasks end-to-end - from design to production
• Design and implement new backend infrastructure components to take our platform to the next gen
• Help building our backend infrastructure for scale
• Ensure our stack stands with security & compliance requirements
• Our stack: Axonius is a services-based platform built on Docker containerized services, leveraging the power of the Python programming language

Reach Out If You Are

• 5+ years of experience in Backend and server side development in Python
• Experience in working with a containerized environment and product using Docker, Docker-Compose, k8s
• Ability to work in multi-functional teams - developers, architects and devops
• Can do approach
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Deep knowledge in networking infrastructure - TCP/IP stack, DNS, common protocols, routing, NAT, etc - advantage
• Advanced Linux knowledge - advantage
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure - advantage
• Experience in the cyber security industry - advantage
