monday.com is seeking a seasoned, impact-driven Senior Team Lead for our Data Science & AI team within the BigBrain group. This role will guide our Data Science & AI strategy, vision, and execution to harness the power of data and revolutionize work culture.

About The Role

• Lead the Machine Learning and AI domains within the BigBrain group, collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and product managers.
• Scale the team by recruiting top talent, mentoring team members, and establishing best practices and efficient processes.
• Oversee the full cycle of machine learning and AI initiatives from ideation to execution, ensuring continuous delivery and tangible business value.
• Identify and analyze diverse inputs to pinpoint business opportunities, translating complex challenges into actionable data science projects.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of machine learning models, balancing short-term gains with innovative projects to maximize business value.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, preferably within a hyper-growth environment.
• 5+ years of experience managing a data science and AI team, with a proven track record in a growth-oriented company.
• A Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Physics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven capability in managing diverse stakeholders across the organization and driving multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end production-grade ML projects addressing complex business and product issues.
• Excellent skills in SQL and Python, with expertise in optimized data processing and machine learning pipelines.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, strong business acumen, and a team-oriented approach.
