Shutterfly’s software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how millions of users will purchase personalized products. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will help us define and implement fresh ideas from all areas.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Marketing Platform team you will envision, develop, and manage the systems and workflows that enable Shutterfly to generate personalized marketing activations for each customer and to recommend them the right content at the right time.

The Skills That You'll Bring

• 5 years of experience in Backend services programming, preferably in Python
• Working with databases, networking, and distributed computing
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix based Operating Systems
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Can-do attitude, and passion about software and systems
• A B.Sc. in computer science or related field
