What we’re looking for

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Backend Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in Python, SQL, and big data technologies. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines, as well as leading key projects and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines
• Implement best practices for data engineering and ensure code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions

What you need:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or related field
• At least 3 years experience programming in Python including extensive work with Pandas.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in data modeling and query optimization
• Experience working with data warehouses (preferably Snowflake)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with third party APIs
