Senior Data Engineer

You'll be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes. Your expertise will fuel data-driven decisions and propel our business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
• Develop and optimize data warehouses and data lakes on the AWS cloud
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver actionable insights
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and monitoring

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field - Must
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on big data technologies
• Proven proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Deep understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts and architectures
• Expertise in SQL and working with various databases (relational and NoSQL)
• Strong familiarity with AWS data services, including Athena and Glue
• Experience with ETL tools, Spark, and other relevant data engineering technologies
• A passion for solving complex problems and a collaborative mindset

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and serverless architectures
• Knowledge of insurance industry data and regulations
• Experience with data governance and compliance
