Browsi is looking for a Data Scientist to boost our algorithmic product innovation across the Company.

You will have ownership of the modelling part of turning data into a highly scalable decision- making system. 

You will need to generate and validate hypotheses about improvement opportunities, building the models that make these improvements happen and following up on feedback generated by millions of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, implement, and evaluate advanced statistical approaches and models for application with the most complex business issues.
• Code your solutions and remain highly collaborative
• Develop on-line and scalable models and tools using machine learning
• Work alongside developers and product managers from across the organization to solve complex problems
• Write production quality code while implementing your own ideas
• Our ideal candidate is result- focused, innovative and has solid quantitative background and a good business understanding.

Requirements: 

• Master’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Engineering
• At least three years of experience as a data scientist
• Strong knowledge of Python
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• An all-around data scientist: strong statistics background, experience in algorithm programming, experimentation, data visualization, machine learning, optimization and big data
• Good understanding of probability and statistics
• Familiarity with the Ad-Tech ecosystem
• Experience with data scientists work methodologies
• Experienced in operating Linux-based systems
• Experience with big-data frameworks (e.g. MapReduce, Kafka, Spark, Hive)
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP)
• Experience with large scale/ distributed systems in production
